Devo Davis to leave Razorbacks, enter the transfer portal

In his announcement, he thanked the Razorback fans, his teammates, and his coaches for their support during his four years with the team.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas has officially seen the last of senior guard Devo Davis after he announced that he has decided to enter the transfer portal.

Davis made the announcement on his X account, formally known as Twitter, on March 20.

"With much thought and prayer, I've decided to enter the transfer portal and explore pro opportunities," he said.

Davis is leaving Arkansas as one of the most prolific to ever put on the uniform by playing in 132 games, averaging 8.5 points in that time, and finishing as just the 9th Razorback to reach 900 points, 400 rebounds, 200 assists, and 100 steals in his career.

In his announcement, he thanked the Razorback fans, his teammates, and his coaches for their support during his four years with the team.

"No matter where this journey takes me, Arkansas will always be home to my family and me," Davis said.

Although Davis is a senior, the pandemic granted him an extra year of eligibility.

It is unclear where Davis plans to go, whether it be in the NBA or with another NCAA team.

Davis's announcement comes after fellow Razorbacks Joseph Pinion, Keyon Menifield Jr., and Denijay Harris also announced their plans to enter the transfer portal.
