FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The warm air is not going anywhere for Memorial Day, but gather your goodbyes for the drier conditions. Heading into the back half of your Monday, humidity and rain chances will slowly creep up and will be in full effect by Tuesday.
Tap HERE to check for rain and storms.
We are returning back to the more active pattern as we switch from May to June. Afternoon/evening pop-up storms and showers will be common through the upcoming week, with highs getting into the upper 80s/low 90s by Friday. A more organized system comes together heading into next weekend.
MEMORIAL DAY
- Partly sunny
- Stray (10%) shower possible
- Highs in the 80s
- Southeast 5 to 10 MPH
TONIGHT
- Mostly clear
- Dropping into the 60s
- Slight (10%) chance of a stray shower
- Southeast 5 to 10 MPH

MEMORIAL DAY OUTLOOK
Monday, for the majority of us, will be dry and warm with partly cloudy skies. But, as more humidity moves in, a few pop-up storms from Oklahoma could survive into Arkansas. If you have outdoor plans on the lake or grilling with the family, keep an eye on the skies and the radar.

RAIN CHANCES LINGER ALL WEEK
The likelihood for rain increases after Monday with afternoon showers and storms possible on Tuesday and Wednesday. These storms will be isolated in nature and will be more present during the late afternoon and into the evening.
