No. 1 Arkansas baseball (23-3) defeated No. 8 LSU (20-9), 7-5, Saturday afternoon to complete the series sweep.

After LSU's Tommy White hit a leadoff home run in the top of the first, Wehiwa Aloy answered back with one of his own in the bottom of the inning to tie up the game at 1-1.

LSU was not going down without a fight, however. The Tigers would retake the lead plating two runs in the third and another in the fourth to have a 4-1 lead.

Arkansas would move the momentum back to their side in the fourth off of a single from Ty Wilmsmeyer that brought in two runs and a single from Peyton Stovall that brought in the tying run.

Brady Tygart went four innings allowing four runs on five hits and struck out three. Koty Frank got the win going three innings allowing one run on two hits.

Arkansas continues the homestand hosting Arkansas State Tuesday at 6 p.m. on the SEC Network+.
