Springdale fire crews battle house fire with pets inside

According to Pulse Point, the fire was reported on the 2000 block of North 40th Street.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — According to Pulse Point, the Springdale Fire Department (SFD) responded to the scene of a house fire on Friday, March 29 at around 1:10 p.m. 

The house was located on the 2000 block of North 40th Street. Although no people were inside the house, SFD reports "several pets" were.

SFD said one dog was rescued in the fire but the others were unfortunately lost. The fire was reported to be contained by 2:21 p.m., but no further details were released. 

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
