Power restored in Northwest Arkansas

Customers from different electric companies experienced long hours of outages in Northwest Arkansas.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — Power outages hit Northwest Arkansas on Tuesday, Jan. 16, morning leaving thousands without power amid the freezing temperatures. 

Slowly, that number dropped to hundreds before completely restoring by 1 p.m. for the majority of customers.
