FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Former Razorback football player KJ Jefferson's mugshot was posted on Wednesday afternoon in the Washington County inmate roster, causing a stir online.

“Everybody keeps asking me ‘KJ did you get arrested, KJ what happened with you,’” Jefferson said in a video posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday.

“I came to Fayetteville today because my court date was today. I got a speeding ticket last year in May, before the season. I got a speeding ticket so I reported to court today," Jefferson explained.

The former Hog quarterback said he was given three days of community service. “I take full accountability for my actions.”
