SPRINGDALE, Ark. — With the temperature getting warmer and the grass getting greener in the Natural State, there's no better time to spend time outdoors with your family, friends, or four-legged companions.
Located at 7341 W Downum Rd. in Springdale, Shaw Family Park is complete with four tennis courts, a splash pad, an extreme fitness area, two playgrounds, a dog park, five ponds, three biking/walking trails, two pavilions, restrooms, and a large natural area.
With several pastimes to choose from, the 120-acre park is a perfect place to kick off all the springtime activities you've been itching to do.
The park is open every day from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On this episode of Around the Corner, the 5NEWS morning crew played on the playground equipment, walked the trails, played some tennis, worked out, and finished the day off with some fishing.
