Take a swing at the mini golf course that calls itself 'a Fayetteville tradition'

Gator Golf, located at 2692 North College Avenue, is the oldest mini golf course in all of Northwest Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Why do you think one miniature golf course calls itself "a Fayetteville tradition"?

Gator Golf, located at 2692 North College Avenue, is the oldest mini golf course in all of Northwest Arkansas.

The two, 18-hole course sits on two acres on a hillside in Midtown.

Gator Golf is open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If you're looking to spend a day putting, unlimited play is $25 per person. If you're looking for a short-term commitment, golfing on 18 holes is $10 per person and 36 holes cost $14 per person.

They also have a party pavilion that can host team buildings, youth groups, birthday parties, and more.

On this episode of Around the Corner, the 5NEWS morning crew had their own putt-putt tournament at Northwest Arkansas' oldest mini golf course.

As always, it got competitive between the three at Gator Golf. Zac even brought his own tee for the occasion.

However, the competitive nature of the trio did not get in the way of them celebrating one another's putting feats, including a whole-in-one from Zac that led to a tie between him and Jo. Maybe next time, Tiffany!
