Power restored after hundreds are left without power after severe storms

The Arkansas Power Outage map shows all power has been restored in Franklin County.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Arkansas — According to the Arkansas Power Outages Map, 400 people in Franklin County were without power Saturday, Aug. 12 after overnight storms. 

Of those 400, as of 1:11 p.m., 399 were Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative customers and one from OG&E. 

At 3:30 p.m., the website was updated and that number dropped down to 164.

By 6:15 p.m. the website showed only six people with an outage and by the end of the day, all power was restored.
