FORT SMITH, Ark. — The Barling Police Department reported a deadly crash near Rogers Avenue and Meandering Way in Fort Smith on Monday, May 8, but the Fort Smith Police Department states that the incident was not fatal.
Fort Smith police confirmed the incident, only noting it as an "injury accident" that happened near the 9700 block of Rogers Avenue, which is in the same area reported by Barling.
FSPD says that Barling PD is incorrect in stating that the crash was deadly.
