Fayetteville–Shortstop Tim Carver belted a pair of solo home runs while seven Razorback pitchers combined to one-hit visiting Oral Roberts giving No. 21 Arkansas a 6-1 midweek win prior to an SEC road series against Florida.
Arkansas moved to 29-12 on the season with the win. Oral Roberts dropped to 21-19.
The Razorbacks had a team no-hitter going into the top of the 9th but Jose Trevino broke up the bid with double to left. The visitors managed just five baserunners in the game.
Trent Daniel got his first win of the season for the Hogs going three innings and striking out five batters.
Nolan Sanburn, Brandon Moore, Tyler Wright, Colby Suggs and Michael Gunn each turned in scoreless outings out of the bullpen.
Derek Bleeker and Jacob Mahan each had two hits in the win for the Razorbacks. Mahan added two RBI, while Bleeker had a RBI. Jacob Morris went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
