Three dead in Arkansas car crash

The crash occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on April 25 in Ozark.

OZARK, Ark. — Three people were killed in a car crash on the morning of April 25 in Franklin County, according to a newly released report.

The crash occurred at around 6:30 a.m. in Ozark.

Ethan Pelts, 30, of Clarksville, is listed in an Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS) report as being the driver of the vehicle. Passengers included 48-year-old Michael Wagley of Clarksville and 29-year-old Austin Lofland of Horatio. 

All three were in a vehicle heading west on I-40 when it lost control and collided with the guardrail of an overpass. The vehicle came to a stop facing north when it was struck by a second vehicle that was traveling west on I-40. 

No other injuries or deaths are included in the DPS report. 

The report says that it was raining, and roads were wet at the time of the crash.
