Fort Smith firefighter retires after almost 32 years of service

​Battalion Chief, Stanley Cole has retired after dedicating nearly 32 years of service to the Fort Smith community.

FORT SMITH, Ark. — The Fort Smith Fire Department announced the retirement of one of its members. 

Battalion Chief, Stanley Cole has retired after dedicating nearly 32 years of service to the Fort Smith community. 

The fire department said goodbye to him on April 3, 2024, saying: 

"Thank you, Stanley, for nearly 32 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Fort Smith and the Fort Smith Fire Department!"
