FORT SMITH, Ark. — A Barling man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on Phoenix Ave. Saturday, Feb. 19, afternoon.
Police say 53-year-old James Layne was heading East on Phoenix when he ran off the road near Walk-On's restaurant.
No one else was involved in the accident.
No further details have been released and the cause of the accident is still under investigation at this time.
