2 Arkansas women dead after crash in Mississippi County

The crash took place at around 1:20 p.m., according to police.

LOGAN COUNTY, Ark. — Two women are dead after a single-vehicle crash in Mississippi County, according to the Arkansas State Police (ASP). According to the crash report, this took place on Wednesday, March 20, at around 1:20 p.m. 

The women are identified as 40-year-old Jeanetta Rose Kubes of Crocket and 55-year-old Tanya Marie Mitchell of Paris. Kubes was reported as the driver of a 2022 Toyota and Mitchell as the passenger. 

The crash report said they were headed north on I-55 when Kubes "left the roadway" and hit a parked semi truck "front to rear," killing them both. 

The report states the road was dry and weather conditions were clear when the crash took place.
