University of Arkansas police to accept public comments, assessments

The assessment, available online, was created to "ensure the UAPD is continuing to meet state-of-the-art standards."

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The annual University of Arkansas Police Department (UAPD) accreditation assessment went live on April 18, offering university employees and community members the chance to give feedback on how they feel the department has been handling its duties.

The assessment, available online, was created to "ensure the UAPD is continuing to meet state-of-the-art standards in four areas: policy, administration, operations, and support services."

The assessment will be open until June 20.
