Barbie The Movie: In Concert coming to Arkansas this summer

The release states this orchestra is composed of "all-women and majority women-of-color orchestra."

ROGERS, Ark. — Live Nation and Mattel, Inc. announced Barbie The Movie: In Concert is bringing its North American Summer Tour to Arkansas this summer.

According to the press release, this is a "live-to-film concert experience."

The concert will have live music by Orchestrator and Executive Producer Macy Schmidt's The Barbie Land Sinfonietta. The release states this orchestra is composed of "all-women and majority women-of-color orchestra."

 In addition to the woman led concert, the release says the touring road crew will also consist of "a veteran lineup of all-women technical and production professionals."

The concert will be held at the Walmart Amp on Sunday, Aug 4. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m. 

Presale tickets are accessible to Citi cardmembers on Tuesday, March 5, at 10 a.m., and tickets for the public go on sale on Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. Standard ticket prices will range from $25-99.50 plus fees, the release said. 

 Josh Silverman, chief franchise officer at Mattel, said they're excited for this tour. 

“We can’t wait for fans of all ages to join us in this immersive experience, celebrating the biggest movie of 2023 and bringing the magic of Barbie to life like never before," said Silverman.  

Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 479-443-5600, or in person at the Walton Arts Center Box Office. All tickets are handled, delivered and checked digitally.
