Event held in Springdale to celebrate Hispanic and Latin culture

The event hosted an interactive bilingual read-aloud of a book designed to captivate young readers and their families.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — The Springdale Public Library (SPL) teamed up with the Más Libritos Bookstore for a special program to celebrate Hispanic and Latin culture.

It took place at SPL on Saturday, Oct. 14, one day before the end of Hispanic Heritage Month

The event hosted an interactive bilingual read-aloud of a book designed to captivate young readers and their families.

The storytelling sessions hope to take kids into the world of books. Following the read-aloud, kids were able to participate in a creative writing activity.

The idea of the event is to spark creativity and empower children to explore their imagination through books.
