AVOCA, Ark. — According to the Avoca Fire Department (AFD), at around 11 a.m. on Oct. 31, a freight train collided with a semi-truck, injuring the truck driver.
The driver of the semi either didn't see the train coming or didn't have enough time to get out of the way. Officials say the train collided with the trailer of the truck.
The scene was cleared up by the afternoon, and officials say the driver is in stable condition.
