Thursday night, Arkansas Athletics Director Jeff Long said that after putting Arkansas Head Football Coach Bobby Petrino in paid administrative leave, he would start his own review on the situation, and determine any further discipline with the coach at the conclusion.

The review would probably involve delving deep into Petrino’s past, including his time at Louisville. When he does, he’ll find another alleged Petrino cover-up. This time, it involves him interviewing for another job.

Eric Crawford, of the Louisville Courier-Journal, was a guest on 5News Sportsline on Friday, where he talked about covering it.

“The thing in Bobby’s history that is here of course, is  that he lied to his bosses when he interviewed with Auburn and first didn’t tell them about it,” said Crawford. “And then when the newspaper took evidence that Auburn had had a plane here,  told them that it wasn’t anyone from Auburn, it was the headhunters. It was not, it turned out to be Auburn’s President, and any number of officials, so, that’s the precedent here.”

When asked if anything else would come out form his time at Louisville, Crawford offered this. “I’d be surprised. I wouldn’t be surprised, but I don’t know that there’s other stuff in the closets that’ll turn up here.”
