FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — A woman died early Friday morning (Nov. 27) after she drove into a ditch along Highway 23 and hit a tree, according to Arkansas State Police.
Authorities identified the woman as Lauren Jo Smiley, 30. They said Smiley drove off the highway around 12:45 a.m. and was partially ejected. She was the only person involved in the accident.
