FORT SMITH (KFSM) — Two men were arrested in late August in connection to a human trafficking investigation, according to a Fort Smith Police Department press release.
Darnell J. Winston, 23, and Delshaun J. Winston, 20, were arrested Aug. 28 by members of the Fort Smith Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit, Alma Police Department and FBI, the release states.
During a human trafficking investigation, Darnell Winston agreed to bring a juvenile to Crawford County from Northwest Arkansas for the purpose of engaging in child prostitution, as well as to transport another juvenile to Northwest Arkansas for the same reason, the release states.
Darnell is in the Sebastion County Detention Center on a US Marshall Hold, and is being held with no bond, according to the release. Delshaun is being held in Crawford County Jail on state weapons and drug charges.
