SPRINGDALE (KFSM)- Two suspects are behind bars following a standoff with police in Springdale on Saturday (June 6), according to the Springdale Police Department.
Police said they responded to reports of a fight around 5:30 a.m. Saturday at a home located in the 500 block of Crutcher Street.
A neighbor reported hearing what sounded like a shotgun blast before officers arrived, police said.
When officers arrived, police said the occupants of the home refused to communicate or exit the residence. Officers tried to communicate with the people inside for over an hour without success, according to police.
Crisis negotiators and the SWAT team were called to the scene. Soon after, the occupants obeyed commands and exited the residence, police said.
The two suspects face misdemeanor charges, according to police.
