Johnson County deputies arrested two people on drug charges in Flat Rock Park Sunday afternoon.
Jennifer Edgin, 27, of Dover, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Donald Stutzman, Jr., 42, of Russellville, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) With Intent To Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
According to the sheriff’s office, the deputies were conducting canine training and discovered a vehicle near the boat ramp. After running a check on Edgin and Stutzman, deputies found that Edgin had an outstanding warrant as an absconder from parole probation.
After being given consent to search the vehicle, deputies found what appeared to be drugs and drug paraphernalia in the passenger seat where Edgin had been sitting. They also found scales and syringes, one of which was “loaded” with meth, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.
Both Edgin and Stutzman are scheduled to appear in court on May 12 in Johnson County Circuit Court.
