Southwest Junior High in Springdale was evacuated Friday afternoon following an anonymous bomb threat at the school, police said.
No suspicious package was located by the responding bomb squad. Police said they sent bomb-sniffing dogs to the school after officers arrived on scene. The children were ushered back into the school around 3 p.m., after bomb-sniffing dogs cleared the school grounds, according to school officials.
Parents were offered to pick up their children at the south side of Shiloh Christian School, near the gymnasium.
