FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — The second University of Arkansas chancellor candidate hosted a public forum on campus at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 13).
Joseph E. Steinmetz, Ohio State’s executive vice president and provost, gave a presentation on his vision for the future of Arkansas’ flagship institution before the public forum, according to a campus news article.
Steinmetz, who earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Central Michigan University and his doctorate at Ohio University, has been visiting the university since Monday.
The third and final chancellor candidate, Jeffrey Vitter, will visit the University of Arkansas on Thursday and Friday (Oct. 15-16). Vitter will also give a presentation and hold a forum at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, in the Faulkner Center for Performing Arts.
