FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Road crews were on scene of a water main break at Overcrest St. and Elm St. Wednesday morning (Jan. 17).
According to the Fayetteville Water Department, there was a confirmed leak due to a crack on a 2.25 inch water main. Crews were working to fix the pipe about 8:45 a.m.
Water department utility director Tim Nyander said a lot of people were calling saying they were without water, but that they could be due to frozen pipes.
The pipe was fixed at about 11:20 a.m.
