LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) – The Arkansas House of Representatives passed the Conscience Protection Act on Friday (Feb. 13), according to legislative records.
The bill, filed by Rep. Bob Ballinger, R-Hindsville, passed at 10:25 a.m., legislative records state.
The bill, if signed into law, would prevent state or local governments from placing a “substantial burden” on a person’s right to exercise their religion, according to KTHV – Channel 11.
