FORT SMITH (KFSM) — If you love history, you are sure to enjoy the speaker that will be making an appearance at the Fort Smith Public Library.

Arkansas author Greta Marlow will be featured in the Authors in the Afternoon event at the Fort Smith Public Library today (Mar. 12). Marlow will promote and sign copies of her books, His Promise True and A Permanent Home. The historical novels tell the story of young pioneers in early Arkansas Territory.

Copies of the books will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.

Greta Marlow teaches speech and communication and the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Authors in the Afternoon will take place from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the main branch of the Fort Smith Public Library located at 3201 Rogers Avenue.
