LOGAN COUNTY (KFSM) – Logan County authorities say someone smashed around 30 mailboxes Tuesday night near Booneville.
County investigators are searching for whoever bashed 20 to 30 mailboxes along Cotton Road and Elkins Road in the southern part of the county, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Boyd Hicks said he estimates the total damage to be more than $1,000. If a suspect or suspects are caught, they could face charges of criminal mischief. Defacing mailboxes is not a federal offense, the sheriff said.
