Two dead, one injured in Ozark motorcycle crash

A report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety says that the crash occurred on May 3 at around 8:46 p.m. in Ozark.

OZARK, Ark. — Two people were killed and one other was injured after a motorcycle crash in Franklin County.

A report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says that the crash occurred on May 3 at around 8:46 p.m. in Ozark.

Thomas Lee, of Waldron, and a passenger were traveling south on State Hwy 23 on a Yamaha motorcycle when a second vehicle failed to stop at an intersection and struck them, the report said.

Thomas, 59, was pronounced dead. His passenger, 49-year-old Betty Lee, was taken to a nearby hospital after the accident. She later died from the injuries sustained in the accident. 

The driver of the second vehicle was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

The report says that conditions were clear and dry.
