Detectives found 4 pounds of cocaine, 3 pounds of meth, 46 ecstasy pills, 43 alprazolam pills, six oxycodone pills, and more.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Around 4 pounds of cocaine, 3 pounds of methamphetamine, and $5,880 of U.S. currency were seized from a hotel room in Fayetteville on March 28, according to the Fayetteville Police Department (FPD).

In a post on Facebook, FPD said detectives with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force launched an investigation this month into a Fayetteville man who was suspected of distributing large amounts of meth and cocaine across Northwest Arkansas.

On March 28, the detectives executed a search warrant on 39-year-old Remano Fowler's motel room where they found cocaine, meth, 46 ecstasy pills, 43 alprazolam pills, six oxycodone pills, a small amount of marijuana, a scale, packaging materials, and cash.

FPD arrested Fowler for drug trafficking, possession with intent to sell, and several other felony offenses.

Fowler is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force involves officers from Springdale, Farmington, Fayetteville, Greenland, Tontitown, Goshen, Lincoln, Elkins, Elm Springs, Prairie Grove, and West Fork police departments as well as Washington County deputies.
