SPRINGDALE, Ark. — The Springdale Police Department is investigating a potential road rage incident involving an off-duty officer.
SPD says that on March 6, it received a report of a road rage incident and later learned that one of the involved individuals was an off-duty officer.
SPD has requested that the Washington County Sheriff's Office investigate the incident to determine if criminal charges should be pursued.
The officer involved has been placed on administrative leave until further notice.
SPD says that it is conducting an internal investigation.
