WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) — An Oklahoma couple who was wanted by the FBI will not be released on bond.

Alan and Daphne Crawford went before a Washington County judge Monday morning (June 20) for a bond hearing, but neither of them will be able to post bail because they are being held for the FBI, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The Crawfords also face separate charges in Washington County. Alan Crawford is facing charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of a controlled substance, according to jail records. Daphne Crawford is facing charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of a controlled substance and terroristic threatening, jail records show.

Alan Crawford is also facing a terroristic threatening charge in Sebastian County, according to his arrest report from the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office.

The Crawfords were arrested Saturday morning (June 18) near Academy Sports + Outdoors on Steele Boulevard in Fayetteville after authorities searched their room at Value Place where they found 10 firearms and several fully-loaded magazines, their arrest reports state.

Friday night, the couple was spotted in a vehicle on Dickson Street, but they evaded police officers prompting a search near the University of Arkansas campus, according to Fayetteville police.

The Crawfords have ties to Oklahoma, Maryland and northern Africa, so they are being considered a flight risk, officials said.

The Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office also assisted the FBI Friday in searching the Crawfords home, which is located in the Nicut area, according to the sheriff.
