Officials arrest two Arkansas men in separate child sexual abuse materials cases

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On October 17, Arkansas State Police arrested two men in separate child sexual abuse material cases.

Officials carried out a residential search warrant at the home of 30-year-old Damon Clapp in Leachville after receiving an online tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

He was arrested for sending and receiving multiple images and videos of child sexual abuse material and is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Mississippi County Detention Center.

That same day, officials executed another search warrant in Malvern, which led to the arrest of 31-year-old Ryan Porterfield.

He was transported to the Hot Spring County Detention Center and charged with 11 counts of distributing, possession, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
