Arkansas State Police seize 120 pounds of meth, 21 pounds of cocaine during traffic stop

ASP says they found the illegal drugs during a traffic stop Wednesday morning near mile-marker 77 on Interstate 40 Eastbound in Pope County.

POPE COUNTY, Ark. — On Wednesday, Arkansas State Police found illegal drugs during a traffic stop near mile-marker 77 on Interstate 40 Eastbound in Pope County.

During the stop, ASP seized approximately 120 pounds of methamphetamine, 21 pounds of cocaine, and multiple marijuana vape pens and products.

Police said the driver was taken into custody and transported to the Pope County Detention Center. He has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession of a schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver.
