Freeze Watch will go into effect early Thursday morning

Temperatures in our northern counties could hit freezing by Thursday morning.

A Freeze Watch will go into effect starting at 3am Thursday morning until 9am for the counties shaded in light blue, mainly in NW Arkansas.

Clear skies could potentially help temperatures drop to the upper 20s and lower 30s by Thursday morning.

Freezing temperatures could kill plants and other tender vegetation that are left outdoors or unprotected. Precautions should be taken to protect these plants.
