FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Much cooler into the end of the week and into the weekend. Temperatures drop from the 80s back to the high 50s and low 60s into the weekend. Rain chances will still be possible Friday night and into Saturday throughout most of the day. By the weekend is over we will most likely pick up over a 0.5" of rainfall.

We'll warm into next week back up into the upper-70s before more rain chances come back into the forecast late in the week. As it stands right now, it doesn't look like we will have another severe threat anytime next week.
TONIGHT
- Partly Cloudy
- Dropping into the 40s/50s
- Northerly winds 10 to 20 MPH
FRIDAY
- Highs in the 60s
- Partly Cloudy
- North wind 5 to 10 MPH
MUCH COOLER INTO THE WEEKEND
Temperatures drop off significantly into the end of the week, as this large mass of cooler air continues to sink to the surface. Rain chances on Saturday won't help us warm back up either as we are potentially looking at scattered showers throughout the day to start the weekend. We'll start to clear out by Sunday afternoon, before temperatures warm into the start of next week.
