KFSM (FAYETTEVILLE)- Arkansas football was back to work this week with spring practice. Saturday was the first practice in full pads for the Hogs and the day also ended with a scrimmage.
There have been a lot of questions when it comes to how the offense will be this up coming season, and in Saturday's scrimmage it seems there may be an answer to the question of who will take to the starting spot in the running back position.
Former Arkansas running back Alex Collins was a work-horse for the Hogs, last season Collins finished with 1,577 yards and 20 touch downs. But, the Junior decided to pursue a NFL career, leaving big shoes to fill in the running back position.
During spring practice Senior running back Kody Walker made a big impression on the coaching staff. According to Head Coach Brett Bielema Walker dropped 15 lbs during the winter and finished Saturday's practice with 39 yards on five carries.
