SPRINGDALE (KFSM) - Shiloh Christian had a few goals when conference play began. The Saints wanted to win a league title, claim a district title and then win the 4A state championship.
They're two-thirds done.
Shiloh Christian dropped only one set as they posted another perfect season in the 4A-1 then they rolled to the district title in Gravette last week. Now they hope to keep the momentum going in the 4A state tournament in Mena later this week.
"So far we've won conference and district and, so hopefully it, well actually we haven't lost a lot of sets so hopefully that continues at state," Shiloh Christian senior Reagan Robinson said.
The Saints will face Newport on Tuesday in the opening round of the state tournament.
"If we go in focused like we have been and work as hard as we can and our defense is as good as it's been lately, I think it's going to be really hard to beat us," Shiloh Christian coach Nathan Bodenstein said.
"One of our biggest goals have been to go out with no regrets," Shiloh Christian senior Anna Gookin said. "We just play for each other and try to stay focused and have fun white we're doing it."
