Greenwood’s Hanna Leads Class Of PWO For Arkansas

Former Bulldog DE recorded 46 TFL and 15 sacks with Bulldogs

GREENWOOD (KFSM) - Arkansas knows they have a lot of spots to fill on the roster if they want to turn the program around and that means bringing in more players than available scholarships.

Preferred walk-ons have risen in popularity in recent years and the Razorbacks landed seven to add to the roster for the 2019 season, led by Greenwood defensive end Morgan Hanna.

Hanna, who was listed 6-foot-4, 220 pounds heading into his senior season, recorded 172 career tackles at Greenwood while registering 46 tackles for a loss and 15 sacks. Hanna added 29 quarterback hurries in his 31 games with the Bulldogs.

John David White, WR, Little Rock, AR
White was a huge part of the Pulaski Academy offense as he hauled in 129 passes for 2,567 yards and 38 touchdowns during two seasons with the Bruins. White chose to walk on to the Razorbacks rather than take a scholarship offer from in-state schools Central Arkansas or Arkansas State.

Andrew Vest, OL, Searcy, AR
Vest, 6-6, 290 lbs, was committed to UCA earlier in the recruiting process but decided to take the PWO offer from the Hogs. Vest is listed as the No. 18 prospect in Arkansas according to 247Sports and had nine total offers from UCA, UAPB and others.

Logan Kallesen, OL, Springdale, AR
Kallesen, 6-4, 296 lbs, paved the way for a high powered Shiloh Christian offense. Kallesen had an offer from Harding and interest from TCU and Utah.

Logan Orr, LB, Jonesboro
Orr, 6-2, 220 lbs, picked the Hogs PWO offer over the same offer from Arkansas State, which is in his hometown. Orr recorded 85 tackles during his senior season, including 41 solo stops, as the Hurricane reached the 6A quarterfinals.

Braydon Stone, ATH, Tyler Grace Community School, Texas
Stone did it all for the small Tyler Grace Community School as he lined up a quarterback put together more than 1,000 yards rushing. Stone will likely play receiver for the Hogs.

Hudson Clark, CB, Highland Park, Texas
Clark had several PWO options but chose to go with a familiar staff as he played on the same team as Chad Morris' son in high school. Clark registered 40 tackles in the secondary while leading the Scots with eight interceptions and six passes defended.
