COLUMBIA, S.C. (KFSM) — Just when it looked like Arkansas was in the clear to win their fifth straight SEC game, South Carolina went on a 22-4 run to help seal a 77-65 win on Saturday.

The Hogs took the lead in the early minutes of the game and kept it throughout the remainder of the first half. With 15:30 to go in the second, the Razorbacks were up by 13.

Enter: A.J. Lawson and Keyshawn Bryant.

The freshman duo for the Gamecocks finished with a combined 41 points that helped lift South Carolina in the comeback victory that ended on an 10-0 run.

Jalen Harris led Arkansas with 17 points, while Mason Jones added 15 points. Daniel Gafford scored eight points — his lowest output of the season.

The Razorbacks forced 21 turnovers, one off South Carolina’s season high of 22 against Florida. The Gamecocks won that one, too.

With Jones’ early 3-pointer, Arkansas has hit a 3-pointer in each of its last 1,000 games, the fifth-longest streak in the country. UNLV is tops at 1,067 games.

The Razorbacks head to Missouri on Tuesday for their next test.
