BATON ROUGE, LA (KFSM) – Find a way to win games. That’s all that matters in conference play and it was on full display Wednesday night.

Arkansas and LSU traded multiple leads in the final minute but it was the Tigers who got the last laugh as they posted a 79-77 win.

Three times in the final minute did the teams converted a three point play but it was LSU who had a pair of them as Trendon Watford finished the last one with 10 seconds left in the game to put Arkansas in a two point hole.

On the final possession, Isaiah Joe’s game winning 3-point attempt was blocked and then the clocked expired before Desi Sills attempt was blocked as well.

Mason Jones led Arkansas with 24 points while Jimmy Whitt added 22 but the story of the game was rebounding, specifically on the offensive end for LSU. The Tigers outrebounded Arkansas 53-24 for the game and had a staggering 23-3 advantage on the offensive end.

Darius Days had 16 points and 16 rebounds for LSU while Watford added 21 points and nine rebounds.
