Dan Enos Gets Raise, Extension From Razorbacks

Arkansas offensive coordinator signs new deal that runs through 2019 season

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Arkansas ended the season as one of the hottest offenses in college football and they rewarded their offensive coordinator for it.

Dan Enos and the university agreed to a contract extension and raise on Wednesday. Enos will be paid $700,000 in 2016, up $50,000 than his previous contract. Enos will also receive an additionally $50,00 per season through the length of the contract which runs through the 2019 season.

Arkansas finished the season 8-5 after a convincing win in the Liberty Bowl over Kansas State on Jan. 2.

The Razorbacks offense struggled early in the season but finished in the top four in every major offensive category in the SEC. Arkansas averaged 35.9 points (2nd), 465 total yards (2nd), 264 yards passing (3rd) and 197 yards rushing (4th) per game.

The non-compete clause that Enos previously had in his contract is also in the new agreement. Enos would owe Arkansas $300,000 if he left before February of 2018.
