SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFSM) — The United Way of Northwest Arkansas has donated stuffed bears and books to the Springdale Police Department to give to children during traumatic experiences.
The department received 80 stuffed bears and 100 books to give to kids who are experiencing a traumatic event.
The donations will help officers comfort children as they respond to calls throughout the community.
