Two People Dead Following Head-On Collision On Hwy 112 In LeFlore County

LeFLORE COUNTY, Okla. (KFSM) — The LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office confirmed two people died after a head-on crash on Highway 112 Thursday (Jan. 23) morning.

The wreck happened at around 9 a.m. on Highway 112 west of Cameron, Oklahoma.

Lisa Smith, 43, and Jeanette Reedy, 67,  were both killed in the crash. They were passengers in a 2014 Chevy pickup driven by 55-year-old Harry Reedy. Harry was taken to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith and is listed in stable condition with multiple injuries.

The second vehicle involved was a 2008 Dodge Ram driven by a 17-year-old boy, whose identity has not been released. He is listed in stable condition with multiple injuries.

The Chevy was headed eastbound on Highway 112 and crossed the centerline, striking the Dodge Ram head-on.

According to an OHP report, Smith was pinned for about an hour and 45 minutes after the crash.

The scene is clear now, but while emergency crews worked to clear the area traffic was diverted along Old Highway 112.
