BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — Walmart announced Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 15) that it will be expanding it’s online grocery pickup test to five Neighborhood Market stores in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville.
Customers can order groceries online or from a mobile device and then choose a pickup time at participating locations, according to a Walmart press release. The service will be free, and customers will be able to pick up their groceries by parking in one of the parking spaces designated for grocery pickup. Personal shoppers will deliver the goods to customers’ vehicles.
The service will be available starting Wednesday (Sept. 16) for online shopping, but pick-up times will begin Sept. 23, the press release states.
The five expanded grocery pickup locations are:
- Fayetteville, 2690 East Citizens Drive
- Springdale, 4900 Jennifer Terrace
- Rogers, 808 West Walnut (opens September 23rd)
- Bentonville,1703 East Central Avenue
- Bentonville,1400 North Walton Boulevard
These locations will join the first Walmart Pickup location, which is located at 3701 SE Dodson Road in Bentonville. The Dodson Road location opened last year.
Nearly 10,000 grocery items will be available for pickup, including fresh produce, meat and dairy products.
