VAN BUREN (KFSM) — Van Buren Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened early Wednesday morning.

Police said the shooting took place at Overland RV Park in the 1700 block of Fayetteville Road, said Jonathan Wear, public information officer for the Van Buren Police Department.

About 5:15 a.m., a vehicle drove through the RV park and shots were fired into an RV that was occupied. No injuries were reported, Wear said.

About an hour later, two patrol officers located the vehicle and arrested several suspects, Wear said.

Two of the suspects were identified as Christopher Murphy, 31, and Kelsey Fry, 20, both from Van Buren, Wear said. Murphy was also charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle and possession of a firearm by certain persons.

Murphy and Fry were booked into the Crawford County Detention Center on Wednesday. Both were being held without bond.
