BENTON COUNTY PURSUIT

SULPHUR SPRINGS (KFSM) — Two Missouri residents have been arrested after they led deputies on a chase that ended in Arkansas, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

Carli Supiran, 19, of Anderson, MO. is said to have refused to stop for a Noel Police Officer during a traffic stop around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday (July 17).

Supiran, who was driving the car at the time, led officers on a pursuit through McDonald County and into Benton County, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

During the chase, a Noel Police Department cruiser was rammed by Supiran’s vehicle, causing the officer to fire several shots in an attempt to disable the vehicle.

Supiran and two other occupants fled the vehicle near the intersection of Beaty and Craig Roads.

Supiran has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault and felony fleeing.

Trevor Meeker, 24, of Pineville, MO., a passenger in the car was arrested on an active felony warrant out of Centerton for aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

Law enforcement are still searching for a third person occupant.
