BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) — Rapper Travis Scott has taken a plea deal rather than going to court in Arkansas after being arrested in May on suspicion of inciting a riot while performing at the Walmart AMP.

He pleaded guilty Tuesday (Feb. 6) to misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and paid a $7,465.31 fine.

Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested May 13. He was booked into the Benton County Jail, but was released 12 minutes after being booked.

Rogers police accused Scott of encouraging people to rush the stage and bypass the security protocols to ensure safety. In Arkansas, inciting a riot is a felony if someone is injured or property is damaged… otherwise, it’s a misdemeanor.

Keith Foster with the Rogers Police Department said several people were injured during the rush. They were treated at the AMP by members of the Rogers Fire Department and Mercy Medical.

Five days before the plea deal, Scott and girlfriend Kylie Jenner of the Kardashian clan welcomed their baby girl, Stormi.
